Built for people who learn better with the right content and a little AI

Dobi Apps started with a simple observation: most learners quit not because the material is hard, but because it's boring or pitched at the wrong level. We build small, focused apps for learning English that fix that — starting with reading and listening tools, with more on the way.

Audiobook — English Audiobooks is built around that leveled-listening idea. Every title is tagged by CEFR level, read aloud by a narrator, and paired with the full text, so a learner can switch between listening, reading, or both depending on where they are and what they are doing — commuting, studying, or falling asleep. New vocabulary gets reinforced through repetition across a book rather than isolated flashcard drills.

Learn English With Stories takes a wider approach: over a million books, comics, audiobooks, and games in one library, aimed at learners who stick with a language longer when the content feels like entertainment rather than homework. Kids and adult beginners tend to gravitate toward the comics and games; intermediate and advanced readers use it for volume — reading widely instead of studying a handful of set texts.

Both apps are free to download on the App Store and Google Play, work without a subscription for their core library, and are maintained by a small team that ships updates based on what learners actually ask for.

Beyond the apps, this site hosts a free English grammar guide covering everything from nouns and tenses to conditionals and reported speech, plus a blog with practical, research-backed advice on how to learn English. Both are in English and free to read — no app or account needed.
